mike escamilla

In 2002 my brother somehow figured out how to download some of the main sections from etnies forward off the internet, and it was one of the first bmx videos I had on my computer and I would watch it every day.

Mike Escamillas part [at 3:21] has a lot of unique elements and creative flair that is especially impressive by today's standards, when less effort is put into video parts and media is saturated with content.

The editing is typical of the style used by skateboarding videos in the late 90s/ early 2000s and prior to Etnies Forward there were very few BMX videos with this high production value.

Mike's ender has still never been replicated today, although Kris Kyle sort of tried in that red bull kaleidoscope video it wasn't the same thing and didn't count.
